May 24-31, 2025, Woodlake UMC will send a mission team to serve with Porch de Salomon (http://porchdesalomon.org/) in Panajachel, Guatemala. Porch de Salomon is a unique and progressive, non-profit ministry which, since 2005, has loved, served, and encouraged “the lost, the least, and the last” (and others!) of Guatemala’s Lake Atitlan region through indigenous home construction, medical/dental/vision/audiology clinics, and high-impact, year-round, humanitarian relief to indigenous people. Join our roof-digging Guatemala mission team as they travel to Guatemala in 2025 to tackle the needs of impoverished people through construction projects to improve living conditions for families, as well as educational and nurturing activities with children and the elderly. The estimated cost is $1,700 per person; the suggested age is 15 or older, and minors must be accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult. Come dig with us in Guatemala!!
