Join a mission team that completes home and outdoor projects for impoverished families through the UMC Hinton Rural Life Center in Hayesville, NC (www.hintoncenter.org). Construction experience is not required. This is the only domestic, out-of-state family mission trip sponsored by Woodlake UMC. Geared to those that are both young and young at heart, it is an ideal trip for parents (or grandparents) to serve with their children (or grandchildren) in mission. Children must have a parent attend and must be old enough to participate for 6 to 8 hours per day with limited supervision. Cost is $395 per person and includes room and board.
